About Us

Ngati Porou Forests Limited (NPFL) is based on New Zealand’s East Coast. We organise forests activities from planting through to harvesting and manage thousands of hectares throughout the East Coast Region.

NPFL establishes and manages forestry joint ventures between Ngati Porou landowners and forest investors. NPFL also manages Crown Forests on behalf of the New Zealand government, Ngati Porou Treaty settlement forests as well as private investors forests.

NPFL has a dynamic mix of technical and practical foresters who have successfully established and continue to manage thousands of hectares throughout New Zealand.

 

NPFL employs 7 full time staff and 70 full time equivalent contract employees.

The vision of Ngati Porou Forests is "Kei te whenua te waiu mo nga uri whakatipu" - The land will provide sustenance for future generations.
